Layered trip to Naples. Duomo of Naples; Via dei Tribunali; San Lorenzo’s Church (monaciello, 10:40 – 11:00); San Gregorio Armeno; Piazza San Domenico (Prince of Sansevero, 11:30); Sansevero Chapel; Monastery of Santa Chiara; via Toledo, Piazza Plebiscito, Palazzo Reale; San Francesco di Paola; San Carlo’s Theatre; Maschio Angioino. 
Special participation: Ugo Rossi,  professor of Economic-political Geography at Gran Sasso Science Institute, L’Aquila, talking about social and urban evolution of Naples historic center; Esmeraldo Napodano, actor, playing the role of Prince of Sansevero; Roberto Matteo Giordano, actor, playing the role of ’monaciello’, a legendary figure in Neapolitan tradition. It is a small being resembling a monk, often described as a ghost or spirit wandering the streets of Naples, particularly in the Rione Sanità neighborhood. According to legend, the monaciello can be either a benevolent guardian or a mischievous trickster, depending on how it is treated by people.
