LTTA

The 3rd Learning, Teaching, and Training Activity was held from 30 September to 4 October 2024 at Gazi Anadolu Lisesi, Samsun, Türkiye.

DAY 1:
Host and guest partner schools introduced their groups and schools to one another. Ice-breaking activities were organized to help create a friendly, relaxed atmosphere where students could comfortably share ideas, actively participate in the sessions, and prepare for collaborative group work throughout the week.
Each group also presented their project activities completed at their schools prior to the LTTA, sharing their experiences and contributions to the project so far.

DAY 2:
Students were divided into six mixed groups, with members from each partner school. Each group collaboratively wrote a short story on the theme of peace. After completing their stories, the groups read them aloud to one another.
At the end of the session, one story was selected by vote to be adapted into a short film. This short movie was later produced by the Polish students who participated in the local project activities.

DAY 3:
New mixed groups, consisting of students from both the host and guest schools, were formed. The students participated in a debate on peace, discussing real-life experiences and situations related to the topic.
To help them view issues from multiple perspectives, students embodied different roles — even the most challenging or uncomfortable ones — encouraging empathy, critical thinking, and open-mindedness. Each partner school had made the necessary preparations for this activity before the mobility.

DAY 4:
Host and guest students were informed about the event to be organized at the school hosting the LTTA. Both host and guest students took an active role in this event, which aimed to encourage other students to take action for peace.
All necessary preparations had been completed by the host partner before the mobility. During the event, students were divided into groups and prepared posters featuring catchy, impactful slogans about peace. These posters were then displayed and used to promote peace throughout the event.

DAY 5:
A coordinators' meeting was organized to evaluate and discuss the overall project process and outcomes. The event welcomed not only students and teachers from the partner schools, but also representatives from other school communities, civic and formal educational organizations, parents, the press, and local media.
During the event, students shared feedback with the audience about what they had learned and experienced throughout the project. The program concluded with a certification ceremony, where participating students and teachers received their certificates of attendance and achievement.
